Love, intimacy, and touch are important themes in any person’s life. For some, such things are no more than natural, but for others, these are loaded subjects. Together with clients and other people involved, Care&Culture – in cooperation with the Master of Arts Therapies of Codarts Rotterdam – is creating a moving dance performance based upon intimacy in five care facilities in the Netherlands.
This will be concluded with a (private) performance in each of the five facilities with unique dance duets, incorporated choreographies, live music, and filmic images and interview fragments.
To allow other interested people to partake in the results, two public performances will be held:
2 June, 7 pm in the Codarts Theatre Hall, Rotterdam;
6 June, 7 pm at Vorstelijk Complex, Utrecht.
Skin Cravings was created in collaboration with Kwadrantgroep, Viattence, Warande, Topaz, and Zorggroep Apeldoorn. It was co-funded by the European Union CE programme as a part of Dance on, Pass on, Dream on.
